Business Problem/Objectives The overall objective of the Market Demand Model application was to give the users the ability to forecast the impact of multiple, disparate external forces on the client's OE, R&O, and Spares revenues by a number of different parameters like SBU, SBE, geographic region, platform & platform sub-segment, platform classification, product line, time, customer, business mix, and market mix.
Solution The solution includes loading data from 3 heterogeneous sources for single year (base year) and extrapolate data for future 10 years based on the business trends. It provides flexibility for the report users to write back to the database and the dataset is specific to each user.

At a business level it allows scenario modeling, assessment of new customers, and facilitate portfolio analysis of SBU/ SBE/ Product Lines/Platforms/Market Mix, and Region.
